Homework

Homework will be set every week by your child's class teacher. Children will receive Maths and English homework, every Friday through TT Rockstars and PurpleMash. English homework will consist of spellings and sentences, which should be learnt in preparation for a test that will take place on Friday.

Homework should be handed in no later than Wednesday.

Reading

Every child will go home with their home reading books and diaries, which are expected to be read every night. Parents should sign their child's diary, so that it can be shown to member of staff in the morning. If your child has finished their assigned book, then they are encouraged to read other books at home, but should still get their diary signed to show that they have read.

Physical Education

Your child will receive 2 hours of PE each week.

In Mary 3 (Mrs Thorpe's class), PE lessons are on Monday and Thursday, whereas in John 3 (Mrs Kidson's class), PE lessons are on Tuesday and Friday.

Please note that PE kit should be in school at all times. This consists of a red t-shirt, black shorts and black pumps.
