Online Safety
As part of our commitment to keeping children safe and helping them thrive in a digital world, we teach online safety regularly through both our PSHE and Computing curriculum. These lessons are designed to help children understand how to use technology responsibly, make informed choices online, and recognise how to stay safe in different digital environments.
Online safety is not a one-time topic; it is revisited throughout the school year to reflect the ever-changing digital landscape and ensure children are equipped with the knowledge and confidence to stay safe online. We explore a range of important topics, including protecting personal information, understanding online risks, being respectful in digital communication, and knowing what to do if something goes wrong.
If you ever have any questions or concerns about your child’s safety online or would like support with managing online safety at home, please don’t hesitate to contact the school’s Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL). We’re here to help and work in partnership to support your child’s wellbeing both in school and online.
