Patron Saints

Saint Mary

Saint Mary, also known as the Blessed Virgin Mary, is the mother of Jesus Christ and a central figure in the Catholic faith.

Chosen by God to bring His Son into the world, Mary is honoured for her deep faith, obedience, and love. Catholics look to her as a model of holiness and compassion, and she is often called the Mother of the Church. Through her “yes” to God, she played a vital role in God’s plan of salvation.

Saint John

Saint John was one of Jesus’ twelve apostles and is often known as John the Beloved because of his close friendship with Jesus.

He is traditionally believed to be the author of the Gospel of John, the Book of Revelation, and three letters in the New Testament. John was the only apostle who stayed with Jesus at the foot of the cross and was given the care of Mary, Jesus’ mother.

He is remembered for his deep love, faithfulness, and for teaching that “God is love.”
