Governors
The Governor representatives of Ss. Mary and John’s aim to keep all our parents and carers informed of who we are, the various committees we sit on and what we do and give you an insight into the work that goes on in school.
We, as school representatives, have legal duties, powers and responsibilities delegated from the Board of Directors of the ‘St John Paul II Multi-Academy’ that we must exercise as a body. No representative can act individually.
The Local Governing Board (LGB) is committed to ensuring the safeguarding and welfare of all pupils at Ss. Mary and John’s. It holds responsibility for monitoring and upholding the safety policies and practices, ensuring that staff are well-trained and supported. The LGB works closely with school leadership to ensure a safe, supportive environment for students and holds all stakeholders, including staff, parents, and the wider community, accountable for maintaining high safeguarding standards.
If there is anything we can help you with, please don’t hesitate to contact us through the school.
Ms Helen Crowe
Chair of the Local Governing Body
